How to restore our independence

First – stop wishing for another independence referendum  

Because we’ll never get another one

But mainly because we really, really, don’t need one

Scotland’s people are sovereign. 

That means that we’re in charge – there is no higher authority, and that includes the British parliament

So if we’re in charge, think about it – why would we need to ask anybody?

The Run Up To The Union

We were an independent nation, one of the oldest in Europe. Older than England, to be sure. But we’re not independent anymore. Why?

We Have Catch’d Scotland

After the passing of the Acts of Union, England was very pleased with itself, as well it might. At a stroke, Scotland had gone from international competitor to a rich new resource, ripe for exploitation.
